Thu Tra Nguyen is a Master’s student of the program “Comparative Studies in English and American Language, Literature and Culture” at HHU, with special interests in Second Language Acquisition and Multimodal Communications. She holds her Bachelor’s degrees in English Language Teaching (ELT) and Translation. Her first Master’s degree is in International ELT and Applied Language Studies with the thesis focusing on Multimodal Analysis of English Textbooks.

Thu Tra is currently working on her master thesis on Prominence and Probability in American Sign Language.
